Schercodine™ C amido-amine is a naturally-derived, cationic surfactant. It is an effective conditioner in hair and skin care products. Schercodine™ C amido-amine is 98% actives clear liquid tertiary amine. It is used in pH 3.4-4.4 formulation as quaternary ammonium salt as a conditioner. It is used to replace quaternary cationic surfactants in rinse-off conditioners. It provides excellent wet combing and wet sensory. Common protonating acids are lactic, aspartic, citric and glutamic acids.
