Chemonic™ LI-3 surfactant is a mild cleansing agent and solubilizer that adds emolliency to personal care products. Chemonic™ LI-3 surfactant is derived from coconut oil and used extensively as an amide formulating alternative. It works synergistically in combination with a wide variety of surfactants to build excellent foam stability and flash foaming characteristics in shampoos, bath gels, liquid soaps and facial cleansers.
