In the automotive sector, TPU is used for manufacturing items like interior trim parts, seals, and gaskets, where its durability is crucial. Specifically designed for seals, Lubrizol provides a series with low compression set. Our Pearlthane 11H resins, designed for high-pressure hydraulic and pneumatic seals, offer an extremely short cycle time.

    For light-colored or transparent products, such as electronic devices or outdoor applications, Lubrizol offers color-stable aliphatic TPU solutions with excellent weatherability, staining resistance, and rebound performance. These solutions provide a great balance of aesthetic design and high productivity, featuring high flow and low-density properties that make this technology excel.
