CLEVELAND, OH — Lubrizol announces the certification of their new gasoline GA9100 Series product line that meets the updated TOP TIER+™  fuel performance standards. These new standards emphasize advanced chemistries, enhanced engine cleanliness, and modern engine protections. 

TOP TIER™ is a recognized benchmark for fuel quality that goes beyond minimum U.S. EPA requirements. The new TOP TIER+™ standard has introduced rigorous fuel testing protocols to ensure long-term engine health and emissions control. Key evaluation criteria is a 60% improvement in injector performance in modern Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engines, gauged by measuring injector pulse width (how long it takes to inject fuel), as well as the addition of multiple safeguards on emissions soot growth restriction and the elevation of pre-ignition events within engine cylinders.
